Richard Godwin

Richard Godwin was born in the north London suburbs in 1981. He now works as Senior Writer for the London Evening Standard. His weekly column was shortlisted at the recent British Press Awards; his features are widely praised for their humour, originality, and sense of adventure; while his interviews offer insights into figures ranging from the Archbishop of Canterbury to Nancy Dell’Olio. In addition, he is a contributing editor of ES Magazine; a regular contributor to Vogue; a co-founder of the London Review of Breakfasts; and an accomplished singer-songwriter, performing dark-hearted English chanson with his guitar. His first book, The Spirits: A Guide to Modern Cocktailing, was published in September 2015 by Penguin Random House.
