Susan Jonusas

Susan Jonusas is a historian specialising in crime and culture in the 19th and 20th Century. After studying Modern History and English Literature at the University of St Andrews, she completed a masters in the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at Kings College London. She was a bookseller, but now spends her free time on the archery range.

Susan has written for CNN, History Today and The Spectator World. Her first book, Hell's Half-Acre, was included in the New York Times’ Best True Crime of 2022 and the recipient of a Kansas Notable Book Award.
