Zuzu Burton

Zuzu Burton is a writer of literary fiction from Bath. Her short stories have been published in the Lighthouse Literary Journal and the Bath Short Story Award Anthology, in which it won third place. Her writing is often offbeat, humorous yet deadly serious, and driven by distinctive female voices.

In 2026 she graduated with a first in English Literature with Film Studies from King’s College London, where she won the British Association for American Studies' Undergraduate award for her essay ‘Calvinist Theology and Sacred Landscape in Marilynne Robinson’s Housekeeping’.
