Diana Souhami longlisted for the Polari Book Prize 2021
We are very pleased to announce that NO MODERNISM WITHOUT LESBIANS by Diana Souhami has been longlisted for the Polari Book Prize 2021.
Now in its tenth year, the Polari Prize is the UK’s first and largest LGBTQ+ book award. Established to promote writing that explores the LGBTQ+ experience, Polari also focuses on amplifying diverse voices through a series of literary events, including the regularly touring Polari Salon.
The prize is awarded in two categories – Polari Book Prize and Polari First Book Prize – to celebrate emerging and established LGBTQ+ literary talent respectively.
The two shortlists will be announced on Wednesday 28th July 2021.
