Keshava Guha's The Tiger's Share longlisted for the Climate Fiction Prize 2026
We are thrilled to announce that Keshava Guha's The Tiger's Share has been longlisted for the Climate Fiction Prize 2026!
The Climate Fiction Prize is a new literary prize that celebrates the most inspiring novels tackling the climate crisis.
The longlist was announced on 6 February 2026.
Of The Tiger's Share, Simon Savidge, one of the Climate Fiction Prize judges, said:
‘The Tiger’s Share deftly uses a polluted Delhi backdrop as a metaphor for a toxic relationship between siblings caused, interestingly, by a parent’s conscience over climate crisis..‘
The Tiger's Share was published by John Murray in 2025 and comes out in paperback on 12 February 2026. It has also been longlisted for the Godrej Literature Live! Fiction Book of the Year and the Atta Galatta-Bangalore Literature Festival Book Prize 2025.
The shortlist for the Climate Fiction Prize will be announced on 18 March and the winner in May 2026.
