Linda Kinstler wins the Commonweal Prize for Short Fiction 2026
We are thrilled to announce that Linda Kinstler is the winner of the Commonweal Prize for Short Fiction 2026!
Her story Waidmannslust was the winner of the annual prize.
Launched in 2024, the Commonweal Prize for Short Fiction recognizes original and outstanding short fiction from emerging writers. The winning story appears in the magazine’s annual summer issue, which is published every July.
