Ben Okri's Every Leaf A Hallelujah performed at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre

Ben Okri's fairytale Every Leaf A Hallelujah, published by Head of Zeus on 14 October 2022, is being performed at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

Every Leaf A Hallelujah was a Guardian Children's Book of the Year. It is an environmental fairytale made for our times, written to be read by adults and children. It follows Mangoshi, who lives in a village in Africa, and goes on a quest through the forest to find a very special flower with a very special power. Find out more about the book here.

The theatre invites children aged 4+ and their families 'into an enchanted world of extraordinary endangered trees. Performed on the theatre lawn and adapted by Chinonyerem Odimba, all you'll need is a blanket to sit on and an open heart.'

The performance runs from 23 May to 10 June 2023.
