Eleanor Barnett and Richard Godwin shortlisted for the Fortnum & Mason food and drink awards

We are thrilled to announce that Eleanor Barnett, author of Leftovers: A History of Food Waste and Preservation (Head of Zeus, 2024) and Richard Godwin, author of The Spirits: A Guide to Modern Cocktailing (Square Peg, 2021) have been shortlisted for the Fortnum & Mason food and drink awards 2025!

Leftovers has been shortlisted for the debut food book category, and Richard Godwin has been shortlisted for the drink writer category, for work featured in The Spirits.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 1st May 2025.
